A Journey Into Darkness!

I’m honored to share my stories with you, whether you’re a lifelong reader, a fellow dreamer, or you’re just curious about what’s out there in the bright light of day.

Step Into the Shadows of White Falls

White Falls is a seemingly quiet town that is shaken when, month after month, girls mysteriously disappear. Codie Crestmount, the story’s doubtful heroine, is drawn into a place of darkness and monsters, both seen and unseen. When her best friend is taken, Codie is forced to confront her deepest fears and reveal the secrets hiding in the shadows of her hometown.

In this novel of survival, betrayal, and courage, you’ll discover that some monsters wear familiar faces. Read Codie’s story as she fights to reclaim what has been lost and exposes the true nature of fear.

Part Two: The Vanishing Girls of White Falls

Nestled within the bleak confines of White Falls—a small, perpetually sunless and starless town—its residents clung to the illusion of safety. Yet, as the mysterious disappearances of seven young women rattled the community, it became painfully clear that White Falls was anything but secure.

Codie Crestmount, now twenty-three, has lived her entire life shrouded in darkness, never once seeing the light of day. Haunted by an innate fear of the night, she begins to uncover the chilling truth: the shadows conceal far more than they reveal. Creatures lurk in the veil of darkness, and not everyone is who—or what—they seem.

As Codie unravels the sinister mysteries of her foreboding hometown, she finds herself entangled in a web of secrets too dangerous to uncover. Some truths, she realizes too late, are best left buried in the darkness.

Meet Jay Bolt
A Professional Daydreamer and Dark Fantasies Writer

I never thought I’d be writing stories. In fact, words and I had a complicated relationship when I was younger. Reading wasn’t my strong skill—it was more of a mountain I had to climb. But something amazing happened along the way. With the help of patient tutors, endless classes, and a lot of persistence, I fell in love with words. They were my escape, playroom, and technique to build places I could only imagine.

Faith and family are my anchors, keeping me leveled while my imagination soars. But I’ve always had a craving for adventure, even though it terrifies me. Writing the novel, “Razor’s Edge” has been my way of accepting uncertainty and unpredictability for myself.

I hope my stories can be that escape for you, just like they’ve been for me. After all, fate loves the fearless.

Behind the Story
Inspiration and Process…

People often ask me where the idea for “Razor’s Edge” came from. Honestly? It started with a dream—a literal one. I had this dazzling image of a town in endless darkness where something wasn’t quite right. From there, I began to think together bits and pieces from my daydreams, my fears, and my love for exploring the mystery.

Writing is a bit like a puzzle for me. I don’t always have the whole picture at first, but with time and patience, the pieces start to fit together. That’s how Codie’s story came to life. As I wrote, I found that the more I explored White Falls, the more it mirrored my fears and desires of adventure but being scared of what might be waiting for me.

This book was as much a journey for me as it was for Codie. It taught me to confront my fears directly, and I hope my readers find the courage to do the same.
